topmaul 42
My next conversion will be a .223 Saiga this gun is for my Son to be his 3 gun rifle. It will have an Ace Folder, Tapco G2, Galil hand guard, and a SAW PG! I'll post a picture when it's done. I should have the rifle on Saturday and have it done early next week. Please give me some suggestions for an optic to top off the above rifle. Edited July 18, 2006 by topmaul

topmaul 42
Well Eric and I took it to the range today and shot several hundred rounds from the 7.62x39 and the .223 all of it Wolf ammo, some laquare coated and some polymer coated. We started out at the 35 yard line Eric's new gun fired a nice group but and a few firing pin soft hits. We got sited in at 35 and shot there a little while then we moved to the 100 yard line got some good groups there then we noticed some steel targets at the 100 line so we started shooting them off hand and would 4 out of 5 or 5 out of 5. Then a fellow had a Vepr 7.62x39 and was shooting at 2 hundred so we sat down next to him and hit the steel plates at 200 yards very nicely. Both Saiga's shot extreamly well today Eric is a very happy young fellow indeed. We will be ready for our next 3 gun match!
