doug01 3
AWW YEAH! I'm in the club for sure now. So how much harder is this conversion going to be compared to the S-308? The .308 just pissed me off more than being hard to do cause the metal is so hard. I know....more of the same. Dinzag I may be PM'ing you again. doug01 3
Congrats! It's missing a few things though! Actually I think all I need is the trigger group, disconector and p-grip nut.............and lots of drill bits! So I was looking at it. Is really the only difference compared to the .308 drilling out the 2 pins for the trigger (plug them with the nylon plugs when complete), and holes for the trigger guard will have to be drilled but not inside the mag release. Seems like the p-grip will sit further away from the mag then on the rifles. Does this sound right or am I out in left field? Thanks, Doug
762minigun 1
No you just need a few good drill bits. BTW my Saiga is exactly like yours. Are you going to keep the rib sight?
kresk 10,063
Found a decent set of cobalt drill bits on eBay not too long ago and at a very reasonable price. Never hurts to have them around for just such an occasion.
