topmaul 42 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 Mine has a Tapco Folder which I'm taking off putting on a Nato legnth AK solid stock. My son's has an ACE Folder (from Blackjack) I'm going to go with the straight, solid stock, but those ACE stocks are great and well worth the money. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Can someone out in Saiga land recommend some sites to buy stocks? Most all of the stocks that I can find are the tapco stocks. Will and I did a little part exchnge, he had an old stock he was getting rid of, i had an old handguard..... anyway....will sends this stock, and i get it and all the screw holes look like they have been filled in with plaster. Turns out his part of the world has "dirt Dobbers"...little bee like bugs that basically find a hole plop an egg in it, toss in another dead bug as a food supply , then seal it up with "dirt". In the case of Will's stock, they were sealed not with dirt but bondo dust from his shop. so anyway, i dig this "dirt" out of one hole and there is a dead maggot (probably a dirt dobber larvae) in there and it just reeks like 10 year old tennnis shoes which never had the benefit of socks being worn.....nasty i tell you....but i got it all cleaned out and it is good to go now......
