keyser223 0
Does anyone have any info on how to modify a FSB that didn't come with the spring plunger to hold the Flash Hider in place?
nalioth 405
Depending on the Saiga in question, you could change it out for a military FSB. I'm not sure the Saiga FSBs can be retrofitted (i have changed the FSB on several [imported during the ban] AKs)
vjor 2
Post a pic of the FSB in question, remember is more than one way to skin a cat, plus what saiga gun you are going to install it? Edited July 8, 2007 by vjor
Navy87Guy 1
I know that on my 7.62x39, because the FSB pins at the bottom instead of on the top of the barrel, that there would be no way to retain the pin when the muzzle device wasn't installed. You could easily drill the hole for the spring and pin, but it would drop out every time you removed the device. Not the worst thing in the world, but still a pain. dinzag 31
Originally I had done this to my S-223. The pin has a notch cut in it to be retained by the cross pin AKM style. Also welded on the cleaning rod holder & bayo lug on the gas block. I used parts from a romy G kit. I then put a Bulgarian threaded FSB on it so I could have the '74 type look to it...
