Panzerschreck 0
Have a friend looking for a combination stock and pistol grip for an unmodified Saiga 12. It is not the thumbhole type, but looks more like a regular pistol grip and stock fused together. Have seen one on a gun, but the owner can't remember the source. Have heard it may be Russian, but can't confirm. Anyone know where to get something like this? Thanks in advance.

For the cost of one of those stocks you can get the parts needed for a true pistol grip conversin. It woulnd't be a folding stock at that price. But anyways, a converted gun has so much better control and balance. It is very easy to do and EVERYTHING you need to know or buy can be found here. You can get by with just a dremel and a few different bits if that is all you have or if you need to buy tools for the job.
mccumber1916 1
mike is correct... another point is he would be out of compliance i messed up when i changed my stock with the russian folder 5 other parts you need to be swapped out agp would make 3 could get us piston... i had too my stock is russian drago style... so i only needed 4 parts conversion is the best AND safest legal way to go
Navy87Guy 1
ACE offers a US-made version, here. The other comments about compliance and cost are true. Your friend still needs to change 3 other parts (if he uses the ACE version, which counts as 2 US parts) -- although he can accomplish that by using the AGP mag. Handguards, magazine parts and gas piston are the easiest options. Jim Edited August 25, 2007 by Navy87Guy
