fossten 1
I think I want my barrel cut and a muzzle brake put on the end. I have a 22" and I'd like it down to 18" with an AK74 brake attached. The thing is, I can't find a gunsmith in town who will do the work. There aren't that many smiths in Louisville to start with, and the one I called yesterday was so reluctant to do the work I hung up on him. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, and I don't have the tools to do it myself.
1liter 20
Fossten, beleave me I'm no smith. And after reading Cobra's write up (wish I had that when I did mine), there is no reason you can't do it yourself. Dinzag has all the tools you need minus the hack saw. Trust me the hardest part of it, is putting a saw to your rifle, once you make the first pass with the saw, it's a piece of cake...
