conndoor 0
I think this topic was discussed recently but I can't find the thread. I already have the tapco stock that doesn't require moving the trigger group. I'm thinking of converting to use AK mags, and want to know if I can put the Tapco G2 trigger group in the rifle without moving it forward. Any good writeups on this? thx -c

rd99fxdl 17
To keep the trigger in its original place, using the Tapco G2 you can only replace the hammer and sear. The trigger is set up to be right below the sear to do the mod and wont work in the original location

Navy87Guy 1
Once you add that stock, you realize that you'll have to comply with 922R. You'll need to replace at least three more parts to be compliant. Without moving the FCG, the best you'll get there is two. That means you either need another part (like using US-made magazines) or you need to replace something like the gas piston. If you don't spend the money on the FCG (which is pricey) then you really get dependent on the mags for compliance in a hurry. Jim
