HillBilly2 9 Posted May 16, 2008 Report Share Posted May 16, 2008 No, the receiver block in the photos is for milled receiver AK's. You want the internal block for stamped receivers for Saigas. You would have to remove the rear trunnion with the hinge you have on there now. I'm not clear on how that is attached but its probably a lot of work. If it were mine I would consider a recoil pad of some sort to extend the length. Another possibility would be the solid polymer folding stock from K-VAR If yours has the 4.5 mm hinge pin it should be an easy swap. I wish I had that folder, I'm jealous. Are you located in the US? If so, sell your triangle stock Saiga (it'll fetch more money than a stock Saiga is worth) and buy a stock Saiga and install an internal receiver block.
