Just wondering how long you think the drum could be left loaded. I leave my glock mags loaded for weeks at a time but they have a different kind of spring. Unfortunately they had not yet got around to the merits of the spring back in 1975 when I went through Junior High Physics 101. IIRC we were still discussing the advantages/disavantages of the wheel.
