Furniture Colors

I plan on converting my .223 so that my x39 will have a friend. The goal is to get it as authentic "AK-ish" as possible. I'm wondering about all the various colors and stock options that are available. I'm probably going to do a plum furniture set, but are Russian AK's actually built with black, desert sand, olive drab furniture, telescoping stocks etc? Just wondering, cause it seems like most that I have seen use the standard wood furniture, with maybe a sidefolder stock.

Don't know about specific colors, but AK's never come with telescoping stocks from a factory.

Uhm, other than the various wood furnitures there are russian aks in black and plum polymer furniture, but not desert/OD.
