nero14 0
I like the look of the bolt carrier w/o blueing, just polished. So i want to do this on my saiga. After some searching i believe the gun is powder coated? What is the best method of taking this off, and is there any harm in using it as bare metal? MD_Willington 11
its paint over phos... take the bolt to a sand blasting cabinet and unleash a hell storm of blasting media upon it... Just one way to do it... Edited January 26, 2009 by MD_Willington

7.62smith 1
I'm very tempted to aluminum bead blast mine and have it fully re parkerized. I have a friend who works in a factory that dips thousands of parts and they don't mind if he runs stuff through with it, the only requirement is that it fit on a hanger. He did an old NASTY pitted AR bayonet I had and it came out better than new.
