zakmatthews 14
http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/semi4sale.cgi?read=211299 I've got no association with this seller. I just saw it browsing all the WTS forums. Previously, I asked if posting links to external sellers was allowed, received no answer from mods. So here you go . . .
nalioth 405
Wow. I didn't think they were imported.
jrance@iacwds.com 716
I'd buy it for grins but I am not about to start the magazine search all over and by myself no less.
Twinsen 86
http://www.americantactical.us/images/SAFIRSILAH.jpg They're coming, I'm pretty sure. But I like that this is the "first shotgun based on an assault rifle". I guess that means these came out before Saigas.
jrance@iacwds.com 716
I suppose we'll be playing the same 5 rd magazine game.
Twinsen 86
And the 2.5" only game.
mechsterbator 0
"...it is the first, .410 cal., semi automatic shotgun ever made based on an assault rifle." guess these guys haven't met the russians.
patriot 7,197
Still, it's VERY cool! I wonder what Tony could with it? ....maybe another TROMIX cannon in the works?
6x6pinz 4
I have been wanting one of these ever since I ran across them. I have been watching the sporting products website that was going to start bringing them in early in 2008 but that did not come to be. Hoping that Gordon will return my emails or phone messages about these shotguns he has for sale.
Superhawk138 202
I saw one yesterday at the gun show at the Atlanta Motor Speedway going for $950.
6x6pinz 4
wish I would have seen it, I would have had it in my possession now. Got an email back (guy who had for sale in first post) said he sold 10 already and has no more and did not when he could get more. Hopefully he can get more soon.
whatmanual 44
I wrote the guy and even though I had a few questions (shell length etc.), his reply was simple: had 20 ALL sold.
6x6pinz 4
If all goes well should have mine by the weekend. This works out great as we have an automatic weapons shoot and it will be interesting to see the reaction, even though it is only semi auto I am sure it will get some attention. Now to find the 10 round magazines for it. I already have to plan more time behind my 410 reloaders, between the saiga and safir I am sure they will get very vrey hungry. Thanks for the heads up zakmatthews, I have been wanting one ever since I first saw them.
308 EBR 0
I fondled one at my local shop this past weekend, the front sight post was crooked, which is an easy fix, but I was'nt impressed with the overall quality.....
6x6pinz 4
picked up the Safir and will be heading out to shoot it this weekend. Funny thing is that while attending a 3 day gun show here in Phoeix today (to pick up lots of slugs for the t14), I found a guy selling a Safir T14 in the classic configuration. Makes me wonder just how many of these were brought over in the last shipment. I checked one of my buddies 20 round AR mags and it locks up just fine in the magwell. Looks like it my be a simple modification to the feed lips and the follower and could have some more mags. I am not sure how the 30 rounder would handle the rim of the 410 shell but once I get a 20 rounder of my own I will see if it can be modified to hold 410.
SaigaNoobie 66
Hrm, if these become more popular, I expect to see .410 being allowed in 3-gun competition to appease the AR fanbois
