ChileRelleno 7,071
I'd like to purchase this collapsing buttstock, http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/se...il?sfs=3f72fe8d I just want to make sure I'm reading this correctly. It is setup to fit right into and screw in, where my factory S12 stock was, no removal of tang, no inserts, no pignose, no welding/milling? And, does it count as a US made conversion part for 922r??? nalioth 405
Yes, it's bolt on. No, it's not a US made part.
ChileRelleno 7,071
Damn! Double Damn! I was hoping it was US Made, I didn't see any mention of place of manufacture. Lets see, I should still be good on compliance, tromix FCG (3 parts), Chaos gas puck (1 part), Galil style forearm (1 part), US made magazines (3 parts).
Jpnorris87 3
http://riflestocks.com/catalog/product_inf...43e90a5591e1e15 This is the stock that Im thinking of getting. US made and the only thing you have to buy with it is the receiver block, and that corrects the stock angle.

Does the receiver require removing the tang? Does it require any milling to fit? I can find the pig noses for AR buffer tubes, but I can't find the receiver block that the pig noses bolt onto, on that or other sites.
SimpleIsGood229 3
Vltor makes a tube that's very similar to the CAA one that CarolinaSS sells. The Vltor is US-made. The main difference is that the Vltor is mil-spec diameter, while the CAA is commercial-spec diameter.
Jpnorris87 3
Here's the receiver block I think you need..... http://riflestocks.com/AKStampedModsRequired.htm From what I understand you have to mod the block slightly for clearance issues, but have not done it myself. MSA is making one also that requires no milling to the block but the tang still has to be cut off..... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=35708 And here's the pig nose adapter you have to have to put a AR stock on..... http://riflestocks.com/catalog/product_inf...products_id=
