npdpig 0
Whats the trick to removing the factory buttstock? I removed three screws two from the outside and one from inside....Did I miss something? Should it just slide out?
nalioth 405
As has been answered many times, Use your shoe hammer on the very end, flip it over and smack it again. Repeat until it falls out. If you don't want to use your shoe hammer, a rubber mallet will do.
Bayoupiper 738
Some can be pulled off by hand. Others are tighter than an Episcopalian virgin on prom night!
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Rubber mallet to the bottom of the grip area....works every time.
vintagedude88 16
You can also try wiggling it a bit to get a small gap between the stock and the back of the receiver. Then take a flat head screw driver, stick in the gap and try to wedge it out gently. That worked for me.
G O B 3,516
FIRST remove all 3 screws. Including the one under the recoil spring retainer. Then hit the bitch with a big rubber mallet!

GeorgiaPD 408
Nalioth, I've heard of and use the shoe spider hammer before, but I have never heard of a shoe stock hammer. I was laughing my ass off. ScoutJoe, "That part is key, if its not moving you just arn't beating it right" If I didn't know the history behind your avatar and hearing a comment like that, I might have asked if you would care to demonstrate
