saigafan12345 21
After a lot of hesitation I went ahead and converted my Saiga .223. Thanks a lot to all the forum members here who helped and especially DamagedWorld and Bounce12. It was much easier than I thought it would be - I literally have no knowledge or skill with tools and converted this thing in under 3 hours. I call her "pinko" TAPCO Warsaw Length Stock TAPCO AK Pistol Grip TAPCO G2 FCG Choate AK handguards AKM Gas Tube Receiver underside re-finished with duplicolor 500 engine enamel Surplus AK Sling Ribbed Dustcover coming soon Simple, reliable, inexpensive. The way it was meant to be. Edited May 19, 2009 by saigafun12345
mav 459
Good job, what kind of retainer did you use for the lower handguard?

Y'all have the freedom to do the same. The people there just don't assert themselves properly to make the elected officials take notice.
JT1911 0
I also consider myself to have little to no knowledge in tools and to know you were able to do it so easily really encourages me. Once I start to move in that direction I definitely will be hitting you up. Great to know so many are willing to help.

PinkFloyd 63
i used dinzag's bolt on (horribly overpriced) lower HG retainer. Haha I would do the same if it weren't for the price; mine stays stock until it's a little more affordable to do so. I've got nothing against a man charging what the market will bear, but it's a little too pricey for my wallet *psssst Dinzag can you maybe lower the price a little *
justinmcmillion 77
Is that the original trigger guard?
