Racer 27 37
Has anyone been able to keep the external threads and have the internal choke or is the wall thickness to thin?
pedal2alloy 206
Has anyone been able to keep the external threads and have the internal choke or is the wall thickness to thin? It's been determined that it would make the barrel too thin at the muzzle to have both.
okent 0
Has anyone been able to keep the external threads and have the internal choke or is the wall thickness to thin? I asked Tony at Tromix this question and he said the barrel was too thin to do this.
Racer 27 37
Damn that was quick. So what have people come up with to have a choke and muzzle brake? Beside the poly choke. I had a hard time knocking over some steel plates that were about 30 yards out at the 3 gun match I went to. Should I look to get the remington choke installed and port the barrel? DINK 1
Buy an extended rem-choke, send it to King Armory and they will install their brake on it for you. I am waiting for mine to come back from them.
Ender 12
http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=38483 I went with Tru-Chokes and was able to keep the external threads (I wouldn't trust them to break down a door but there is plenty of meat left). An additional benefit with this method is that the choke is cut true to the bore and not the .006" off that my OD threads run. Add a custom or customized muzzle attachment, cut and weld up an extended choke tube wrench, and you are off to the races!
