Vultite 57 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 Hey guys, I know probably most of you have seen the gunblast.com website where the ZZ top looking dude reviews guns out by his barn or shed or whatever the hell is back there, could be a junkyard for all I know. But anyways, has he ever given a bad review? if he hasn't, is he even credible? I know don't believe everything you read/hear but why is he so popular? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It was a pretty crude mag, they excepted no money from firearms manufactures and tried to give you a unbiased report. They were a lot of fun to read, even when they were dead wrong! voonman 133 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 The guys you are talking about about is jeff quin and his brother...They are very credible ...I know jeff, he did a review of one of my guns a few yrs back.I refer to him once in a while...Big companies like ruger and Sig usually give him a few of there models to test out and write reviews..So far he has been pretty accurate on all of the weapons he reviews...He should have a email address attached to gunblast.com where you can ask him questions if you have one of the weapons that he reviewed..He is full of knowledge... superA 289 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 He does list the positives and negatives about guns, he may not go so far as to say a gun is a piece of crap but he may say something like, if you want a gun for plinking pop cans on the weekends, he seems to be pretty fair about the limit of uses a gun may have.
