If you use just the internal block to mount it to, it will sit flush with the receiver. If you use the folding hinge, it will sit off the receiver by about an inch. Scott mine is about .200 narrower than the receiver. That is the only thing I don't like about the stock. I wish it was the same width as the receiver.
