Gaddis 1,689
Great, just what I need for the next Million Moron March. Is it true once you remove it from the sheath it has to taste blood before it's put back?
PM2790 0
Kukri knives are like Swiss Army knives. The vast majority are purchased by non-militay as 'souvenirs'. Unlike the Swiss Army knife, the Kukris have been used in combat, so there is a that connection. Mostly they are used for camp duties and make a good work knife/ light hatchet. I think the 'must draw blood' myth got started by some good ole hill boys having a joke on the tall Brit officer. I can picture them trying not to laugh every time he sliced his thumb open. Giggles and grins, man.
