sartwell 4
I just picked up a new 7.62. I have one question, Where is the best place to order some 30 rd. mags that will fit it ? Azrial 1,091
Sure Fire has 30 Round Polymer Magazines to fit the Saiga 7.62. They are US Made. I on the other hand would restore it to the correct AK pistol grip configuration, make sure that you have satisfied 922R and then use Commie Military mags.
volkov 318
If I remember the armory had some at a good price a while back.. just search the armory, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link it.. But more importantly DO NOT put a high cap mag in it until it is 922r compliant. Illegal otherwise
gtnichols 51
Mississippi Auto Arms is having a sale I think,.. http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=289_337
Phoneguy71 0
Just picked mine up yesterday too. And I wandered the same thing. The whole 922r thing confuses the crap out of me, as of now I still don't understand it. I want hi-cap mags now, and the pistol grip sooner or later but don't know exactly what to buy (foreign or USA) And I know you guys are tired of it. (Ya just have to be...) paprotective 362
Get a US made handguard (like $40) and then buy US made mags (3 USA parts) (Surefire mags first, then maybe Thermolds - I can hear the gasps on the 2nd one). That is 4 US made parts total which in 'stock' form means 922r compliant.

BuzzKillin 21
I just bought some 10 rounders (ca. legal) from sportsmen tactical supply cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Didn't post link, cause I'm not sure if they are a proper sponsor.
Digger44 0
Just picked mine up yesterday too. And I wandered the same thing. The whole 922r thing confuses the crap out of me, as of now I still don't understand it. I want hi-cap mags now, and the pistol grip sooner or later but don't know exactly what to buy (foreign or USA) And I know you guys are tired of it. (Ya just have to be...) Here is the simple explanation. It isn't confusing. Your rifle has 14 parts total. If you want to have hi cap mags, 4 of those parts need to be made in the USA. Therefore if you get a Surefire mag that counts as 3 parts, you still need one more part to swap out to get your 4 USA parts. That can be any part you choose. The simplest is the stock. The problem is that a Surefire is $40 and a stock is $40. It will only cost you $150 to convert the whole thing to a standard AK. So the choice is yours.
