glp70 1
What off the shelf factory ammo has everyone tried and had good luck with running through your .308 Saiga?
jdmakersmark 15
Brown Bear, cheap Russian stuff. It can be had for $7 per 20 rounds. Its a little dirty, but good for the price.

Rhodes1968 1,638
+1 on the Remington SP, excellent ammo. Now for plinking/training/long term storage I wont hesitate to go with Brown Bear FMJ or even Silver Bear SP. I have a Brass Boxer Primed preference that I will keep to myself as its good but supplies are limited.
afibstew 0
Recently picked up 1000 rounds of Silver Bear in 145 gr. fmj for 300 dollars at the last Machine Gun Shoot at Knob Creek. 30 cents a round didnt sound bad to me. Have put 200 rounds thru my .308 so far without a hiccup.
PaiN 1
Nothing like a gun that digests cheap ammo Good news on the Brown Bear ammo, I need to start stocking .308 and saw a local shop had a ton of dusty BB 150g FMJ for $12/20, I bet I could talk them down a bit more on it.. That's way too much for BB. Cheaper Than Dirt.com has it for 7/20, even with shipping you'll be cheaper. Eric
