It goes into the little lip and then push down on back end? I didnt want to beat it to hell. Any suggestions of tricks I might not be doing. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
kdbutler 563 Posted July 11, 2010 Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 (edited) Sounds like you've got it right. Yes, the front end of the cover goes under the "lip" on the rear sight block first. Keep forward pressure on the dust cover as you bring the rear down over the button at the rear of the recoil spring ass'y. It should snap in place. Takes practice. It sucks the first few times and you feel like you're all thumbs, but it eventually gets easier. I had to use a screwdriver my first few times to reassamble to push the spring in a bit.
