The Sarge 34
Take a file and make a slight groove where it sits on your BHO plate...then put a lil bend in the spring there.....sure keeps the damn thing from popping off later on.
The Sarge 34
Lastly....I have changed out more than a few gas pistons in the rifles....drill the dimples out and you better have one serious fucking vise to hold it while your guts fly out your ass getting that thing broke loose....I wont change anymore frankly.....It adds nothing to the reliability nor performance and you do not need it for compliance as you already have that covered. Save your money there and go buy some ice cream.
paprotective 362
Site is closed till possibly spring.. I would suggest CSS for all the parts.. they also have KITS there as well. Albert

bigstang 9
ok im not gonna change the piston but maybe get a few usa made mags. is it the sure fire that fit the best?
The Sarge 34
I misspoke. I did not see that your wood was foreign made. Yup...do the gas piston. I should not have been so drastic about replacing the piston.....some come off pretty easy....but the last one (still fresh in my mind) was a sum bitch.....I had sparks flying out of it as it slowly turned it was on so tight....I shit you not.....but drill the dimples on the side.....get a good vise....and a big nice pair of channel locks..... The Sarge 34
And yes the SureFire mags work great....it is all I use on all my converted 5.56mm Saiga's.
