essohbe 47
Hey, Will a Bulgarian 5.45 threaded FSB fit on the Saiga 5.45 rifle? I don't know because they said the 5.45 is cut from the thicker, same barrel they use for the 7.62... Can I use a Bulgy or should I look for a 7.62 one?
nutical 16
If it's the same FSB that MARKW1 is selling, then yes it will fit. I have it on mine.
L5K 162
I have never heard that about the Bulgarians being a larger diameter barrel. I have one on my 5.45 Saiga, fits great.

No, the Saiga is supposed to be bigger diameter barrel not the Bulgarians. So if you get a Bulgarian sight block, in theory it won't fit on the Saiga's barrel. But, maybe everyone who said that was wrong so I wanted to know if I shold go ahead and buy a Bulgy FSB for a 5.45 Saiga or did I need to get the 7.62 one? But you have a Bulgy on your SAIGA? Guess it'll work then...
NM0 586
I have a Bulgy FSB for a 5.45 on my Saiga 5.45 and its fine, works great.

Second that, my Bulgy FSB fits just fine as well as the bulgy gas block. The fun part comes when you drill the pin holes for both!

Even if it were, I installed a Bulgarian FSB on my 7.62 using only a rubber mallet and a sledge hammer and had no problems.
