Very Nice!

I saw a Dodge Power Wagon for sale at a government auction here in Atlanta about 10 years ago! It was very near this this style but I do not remember the exact year. It was a Search and Rescue Vehicle that belonged to one of the other metro area Fire Departments. It looked great and cranked up and ran. The only obvious problem was the vinyl seat covers were worn down to the fabric from countless butts being slid across it. It went for $2200, I have always wished I was the guy who bought it, but I had to place to put it at the time! :(

$2200 would have been an excellent deal. Couple manuals and standard tools took down to frame and back again. Except for motor/trans/ final paint done by pros. Made from 51 to 64. Parts where always interchangeable, except Canadian has longer motor. About the only thing my kids argue "who will get". Only gets around 6mpg, and rec. top speed 45mph, yet torque and hill climbing is excellent. Low range speed 1,2,3,4 mph per gear selected. Was a basket case, in the weeds when gotten, yet kids and I spent numerous hours having a good time on this project while they were growing up. All three used it as their prom vehicle. :smoke:
