t3mac21 1
Colt AR15 HBAR headed to the range for sight-in in a few minutes. Woo Woo
Alexc.s. 25
Good looking rifle, but that sight in is going to be a bit hard with no rear sight.
t3mac21 1
It was basically sighted in from the factory, it was just shooting a little low. Few clicks on the rear sight fixed that. Data stick - look closer, the rear sight is grey. Hard to see in that pic, it blends in with my ugly couch. lol I lost count how many rounds that is, 30+ tho Edited March 8, 2011 by t3mac21
Saiga_rom 91
i got used to my carbine AR15, so whenever i pick up a full size AR, it seems surprisingly larger. i really like the full size though. il eventually get an AR lower with a solid stock on it, and an A1 and an A2 upper for it. t3mac21 1
I enjoy the carbine sized rifles too but, I just have this soft spot for full sized AR15/M16's. IDK why. Still got warsaw length stock on my romanian though.
Saiga_rom 91
i know exactly what you mean. there are some types of firearms that just seem to draw us in. i feel that same way about ARs, and Aks. when i go to any gun shop, those are the first things i look for, even though i already own both. ChileRelleno 7,071
Nice rifle Congrats! The nicest thing about 18"+ ARs are their Mid & Rifle length gas systems, so much smoother. That said, I my carbine too.
elia.jon1 1
i'm pretty sure you want to make elevation adj. on the front sight if you did it with your rear sight your giving up what the elevation wheel is for....

You're right. I was shooting indoor @ 22.50 per hour and didn't have my leatherman knockoff with me. It was only a few clicks of the rear to get it on point from 25-100m. I'll remedy this next time I take it out. As it sits now the front post is flush and the rear was clicked just past the 8/3 setting. Which leads me to believe all I have to do is set it back to 8/3 and turn the front post 1 notch. Edited March 9, 2011 by t3mac21
7N6Wolf 61
That is definitely a nice rifle you have there. I am working on building a carbine myself, and I look forward to firing it at the range in the future.
