cj cake 1
I have two Saigas both with the word "rosjagn" etched into the side of the receiver. It is on the right side just forward of the butt stock. The importer is RAA for both of the guns. I have never seen this on any other Saigas before. Anyone know what it means? 22_Shooter 1,560
It's a German import marking, as far as I know.
PVT Pablo 25
It's a German import marking, as far as I know. Yeah, thats what I'm to understand as well. And its actually Rosjagd. The last leter is just stylized a certain way, making it look like an N, but its a D.
Azrial 1,091
It means "Defective," why do you ask? Sorry, some people believe that it is the name of a German Importer that some of the guns were shipped through. It is not a normal word in German or Russian.

Lone Star Arms 2,047
In context Ros (Russ) colloquial slang = Red (Russian). Jagd = Hunt, hunting. The mark is from a now defunct German firearms importer. Mike
Desolo 55
I wonder if those will one day be collectable due to that marking?
bc5000 26
There was a dealer on GB selling a bunch of them with the 22" barrel a couple years ago for like $450.
