Tapco G2 has damaged my Saiga 223 bolt

Recommended Posts

stop worrying about it. nothing is going to happen to your rifle.

+1. There are TONS of minor differences between makes of AK's (even within same make/model). These are not precision cast/molded AR's. The beauty of the AK's design is that is VERY forgiving of differing tolerances. They are ALL different, yet all seem to work and last. Not worth worrying about IMO.

My S223 has a G2 that doesn't hit exactly flat. I don't care. That bolt will still outlive me and whoever gets it after me.

I took a look at my bolt where the G2 hits and it looks fine. It does hit the rear of the bolt at a slight angle though. My hammer hits the fireing pin perfectly square. Is that right? Seems like you would want the hit on the fireing pin to be square because that's what counts.
