After conversion safety doesnt work.

Recommended Posts

For some people it is, such are things with loose tolerances and drunken employees.

You'll need to build up the safety lever's tab that contacts the trigger.

Remember when building up that tab, that it has to be notched so that it can clear the disconnector when you go to install it. If you have a buddy who has a mig welder, you should be able to do this with just a tack weld worth of a bump and a file to tweak it afterwards.

I saved a picture when someone posted it on the forums since I figured it may come in handy for a time like this.

Ohh that makes sence. I'm actually not to concerned about it, I never use it. I was just wondering if it was my error or it just happends.

I was also wondering if there's a way to test that everythings working fine without going to the range.

I've never understood why the parts/accessory companies don't include a new safety as part of a 922 conversion kit. Hell, it could be another USA part.

Thats not a bad idea. The deal could be sweetened somewhat by optionally notching the safety for a BHO like the kreb offering just sans the high price.

Trouble free install = happy customer.
