devoid 1
Hello Everyone, Been lurking for a few weeks and took possession of my Saiga 12 today. I was surprised to hear it was an IZ111 instead of the IZ109. Can anyone advise what, if any, difference there is? Can't wait to start the modifications! I thought I'd use Tromix but I see they have quite a backlog, so I'll take a try at it myself and use the experience to know the platform better.
todmich 16
If I am correct the difference between a 109 and 111 is that there is no side scope mount.
The_Caged_Bird 474
You can do anything you want to that bad boy! We're here to offer up advice if need be, but here's a little starter: convert it, 4 ports at 3/32 , auto plug, re-profile and polish, and you're good to go!
TheDarkHorse 216
Go to Walmart and get a couple boxes of the federal bulk birdshot and shoot that up on setting 2. If it cycles good after that, then you don't need any of that internal work. That's what I did three years ago with 3 gas ports and the factory Puck and plug. That was the best $45 I have spent on my 12.
