*** Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s “Catch-All Gun Control Scheme” -- to create a national “cannot buy registry,” allowing citizens to be stripped of their Second Amendment rights on a Justice Department whim, effectively banning all private gun sales.

Obama can do nothing by himself to do away with the 2nd amendment. Either both houses of congress and the supreme court are complicit or they are totally stupid. Either way they all deserve to be tried and serve life in prison without parole as a starting point. Yes, Obama can unconstitutionally issue exec. orders, but a honorable constitutional congress would put a stop to it and a truly constitutional supreme court guardian would also put a stop to it! So they are all impeachable and should all be punished. It's that simple. Any dishonest politician goes to prison! They must live under same rules as everyone else! No benefits what so ever after terms are over! TERM LIMITS, NO LIFE TIME POLITICIANS! We will either start trying to be freer THROUGH HONEST ELECTIONS and electing constitutional guards or become more enslaved by regulations or worse! I beleive we will all one day see if the, "you can have it when you pull it from my cold dead hand" folks really mean it if we continue to elect this trash. Some will hide theirs. But if they are registered then they will go to jail until someone turns them in or prove who you sold them too. Even if not registered then got to jail b/c you bought walmart ammo, etc... on your card etc... Elect Sheriffs and deputies that will honor freedom and the constitution as the founding fathers intended!

Dudley Brown is a money whore.

 

Any mailing you get from one of his organizations asks for (at the least) a $150.00 donation as a starting off point. Doesn't help it any that the picture in the envelope of him shows him shooting a fully auto MP/5. If you got money to burn for that, why don't YOU throw $150 in the donation pot, Dudley?

 

I do donate to his org. sometimes. Not $150 though. $35.00 if I'm feeling particularly generous at the time.

There are several grass roots efforts that seem to do more with less. Takes some research and they are probably local.

I think Obama's chances for reelection are underestimated on gun forums. A post-election push for gun control strikes me as a more likely move for either Obama or whomever the Republican candidate will be (assuming it's not Ron Paul).

I hope your right but I believe it is wishful thinking.....

I personally believe 80% will willing give them up to avoid loosing their DSL or HBO and 19% of the rest would try to hide their guns, the last one percent that decide to fight will easily be eradicated.

I agree not enough people are taking his re-election serious enough honest or otherwise. Also believe if re-elected he will goo for guns just like he has free speech and religion. Actully if the gun runner and gun walker GOVT BS hadn't blown up then he would have already gone for the guns!! Where are those P.O.S.'s BATFE/FBI/LE's not arresting that trash? It's all to take freedom away from the people!

Personally i wont put up with having to hide my guns. I have some property in the country about a 1/2 mile from a cop who lives at the bottom of my mountain. He is very cool about it when i tell him im going to be shooting up there.

 

I like the way things are, and when a very right wing senator asks for help fighting for my right to keep my life style i could not in good conscience ignore him. The NRA is a very good option to help fight gun grabbers, and i grew up with Ted

 

Nuggent, but c'mon who is going to get more done in Washington? Rand Paul and all the new senators were voted in to do this for us and by us. Now he is asking for help as the gun grabbers have a lot of clout .

 

We the people have shown the political circle that when we have had enough WE are in control and will boot any one or multiple idiots for taking our freedom or stepping on our Rights. If Obama wins this next election it will be the fight of our

 

to keep our semi auto's with out hiding them and never going out to shoot them again. Plus getting into trouble for "Selling them to someone we dont know with out a FFL"

 

Obama will not care who opposes his laws. He has nothing to lose in his final term. We cannot do anything if that happens, but our senators and congress can still get repeals done so if they ask us to avoid all this we must answer the call.

 

After words we will have a huge wild Hawg hunt and a picking!
