IZ-240 rear sight leaf

Recommended Posts

does that leaf change the sight picture ? otherwise im not sure i get it. ive never shot mine past its minute of pieplate 200 yard accuracy. lol @100 yards its pretty good , but bets are off much further than 200 yds.with my sporterized nasty trigger !! im interested if the other leafs offer a more refined picture though.......mine shoots about the same with or without scope

i believe the military correct one would be the 1-1000m for the 5.45 and 1-800m for the 7.62 and 1-500m for the krinks, the svd should be 1-12, and the pk/pkm is 1-15 if i remember correctly. i dont think you'll get a better sight pitcure with them unless you mill some of it out.

Have fun replacing it. I remember my swap being a real pain in the ass. Something with a wooden dowel and a hammer.

Here is what I use in my 7.62

and this is on the 5.45

You may be going for the authentic look. I really like the Williams on the 5.45. I guess it's an old habit for me in open sights. Love that ghost ring. The Krebs is also a good one. It can be used as a hammer.
