This. Don't cut the tang off of your "fine Russian firearm." Leaves it neutered in regards to stock options.

Actually, it leaves a good excuse to install a real folder....

Actually, it leaves a good excuse to install a real folder....

 

Yours is nice, evl, don't get me wrong, but with the bonesteel folder out now where you can leave the tang on, there's no need to clip it off anymore. Definitely leaves you open to other options if you decide to change your build later.

I agree, removing the rear tang, removes many options. If you know what you want and plan on keeping the weapon forever go for it, I just am not as decisive I guess.

Trust me, I used to feel the same way. I like making them mine now and I have fallen in love with the triangle folders. They are beautiful to me. Makes the weapon more compact that any aftermarket option too, not to mention the increase in value. It's really just a matter of personal preference.
