Maxaks 1
Should I cut off the tang or keep the rear trunion and use a romanian trunion instead?
MAAnew 162
Cut it off. I wouldn't put anything Romanian on a fine Russian firearm!

Don't cut the tang off of your "fine Russian firearm." Leaves it neutered in regards to stock options.

Yours is nice, evl, don't get me wrong, but with the bonesteel folder out now where you can leave the tang on, there's no need to clip it off anymore. Definitely leaves you open to other options if you decide to change your build later.

If you know what you want and plan on keeping the weapon forever go for it, I just am not as decisive I guess.
evlblkwpnz 3,418
Trust me, I used to feel the same way. I like making them mine now and I have fallen in love with the triangle folders. They are beautiful to me. Makes the weapon more compact that any aftermarket option too, not to mention the increase in value. It's really just a matter of personal preference. KennyFSU 249
Although it makes for a VERY clean folder it's just too permanent for me lol.
