MCASgt New River 10,036
I recently read up on a new development ...well its new to me. The AK-12 is a upgraded, revised AK-47. Look it up and tell me your thoughts. I'd give links but I'm posting from my cell. More to follow later. Respectfully, Gunny NR
gregomega 929
I consider it a part of the ak family and look forward to owning one of it's newest variants. It'll be fun comparing its upgrades and function to the older versions. Hope we get them over here.

gunfun 3,931
None of the governmental bodies seem excited about buying it. I suspect it will be a footnote to the model that catches on, kinda like .30'03 or an AR18. Edit--Corrected historical error.-- Edited September 16, 2012 by GunFun

I suspect it will be a footnote to the model that catches on, kinda like .30'02 or an AR18 I read a similar thing where the Russians stated they have so many AKMs and 74s in the stockpile, they really are not looking for something new.
