ironhead7544 35
I am in a bad situation right now and need to sell a couple of excess rifles and mags, etc. Dont know what to ask for this stuff. Been into the AK for some time. It is hard to judge prices right now. Dont want to sell but have to. Would much prefer to keep everything. Would it be best to put everything up for auction? Thanks for any help.
mostholycerebus 415
Auction will get you what theyre worth right now. You have about a week window. People will have christmas cash in their hands for 5-7 days, looking to spend, then be broke till February.

armalite_ar50 86
Yup Xmas cash and the popular gun auction sites. I'm neither buying or selling but I don't hold it against anyone that does either. We are a capitalist country after all. The best thing with the auction is you will get what you want (start your price) and they will pay what they want (ending bid) NOW is the time to sell if you need to. obiwanbonjovi 337
make sure your title is good and easily searchable, and put them up on gb starting at a penny no reserve, you will get way more than you paid for them, that is for sure.
storm6490 2,768
Sell it all on gunbroker. Don't sell it as a package deal. Take good photos and know how to sell the stuff. If you need help or have any questions, feel free to send me a private message. There are a lot tricks I have learned that save you money on shipping and will get you more bids and interest on your items. Alternatively, you could sell it to a friend in your gun club that would sell it back to you when time get better. Good luck!
cgculber 6
I checked out "gunbroker" as you suggested, and I can't believe what people are selling Saiga's for (and they actually have bids). Put a crappy quad rail forend on a stock saiga and suddenly it's worth $2000? I'm glad I didnt sell mine for 1k...

I know it is tempting. But, consider what you will replace it with for 3K right now. The red jacket has a lot of hollywood pazazz with it so it will demand a much higher price than a similar well built saiga. If you have two then why not!
