ec4321 113
The only evidence for a "pin" we've been able to construe is from pictures on XN's website. We have a number of the newest versions with the XN serial number suffix and they do not have pins. Our receiver is 100% compatible with all versions of the gun currently imported, as are our handguards and other products. Thanks for the infor. I just emailed Nancy,...i am in...Hope they have a choice of retractable stock. I beleive Jim mentioned it will accept a buffer tube. So you can use whatever stock you'd like. Flatland Shooter 22
Come on everybody...get your name on the list for these. I just talked to Nancy and she said the more people that sign up...the better the price they will be able to pass on to everyone. So what are you waiting for....I'm on the list...are you ? Let's support the vendors that make this gun special. Heck, I called and got my name on the list as soon as I found out a list was available. As I understand it, getting your name on the list is for the lower receiver. Once the receiver comes in, Firebird Precision is more than willing to finish it out to whatever level you want. In my case, I want it with the fire-control group installed and ready to attach my pistol grip, stock and upper. Bill
ec4321 113
Hey Jim - Couple of questions - 1) Does this take standard buffer tubes? 2) Does it accept standard rear receiver plates? 3) Do you use a castle nut? how is the stock on the one pictured fastened? Anubis 38
Any AR-15 stock, whether it be fixed or collapsible, attaches to this receiver in the same fashion as it would on an AR. The receiver accepts any mil-spec and commercial AR-15 buffer tube.
