TYBOY 33
Members, I have been seeing the word TAT used for a long time here and it is driving me nuts. The word is TAP, as in a TAP & DIE set. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong and there is some other meaning of the tool referenced as TAT. Sorry if I offended anyone, but enough is enough. Sincerely, FORDBOY

TYBOY 33
Thread Alignment Tool Definition- A special tool used to assure exterior barrel threads are aligned correctly with the bore. Cobra, I have always refered to something like that as a DIE (for external threads). Maybe I have learned a new term here. Is this some kind of DIE with a guide attached? Is it a gunsmithing tool term? FORDBOY

Voltia 375
Thread Alignment Tool sounds like some cute acronym made up by some go-army fapper. Generally, most machining alignment devices are called jigs or fixtures.
