Turbo.M777 11 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 I've just been thinking about stocking some spare parts, just in case I can't get them someday. For my AR-15 I've acquired some extras over the years, (springs, firing pins, bolt, etc)I figure I should get some backup parts for my S12 too. lewie212 37 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 I had to replace my bolt carrier due to cracking where the rod screws into the carrier. I'd grab another extra one if I could. I installed a Tom Cole hd rod on the new carrier. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

sapper1371usmc 107 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 As lewie stated, R&R Targets have the bolt carriers. They are working on producing US made bolts as well. No other US manufacturer offers bolt or bolt carrier replacements and factory original parts are just as scarce. Occasionally youll find someone parting out a weapon, which at the current time is your best option. Saigastock had extractors in stock recently but they are now out of stock. CSS carries the tromix strikers and springs as well as the Tom Cole HD piston. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Springs are the easiest parts to get, and I have a few extras set aside. The only other thing I could think of was to buy a second shotgun.
