typoh929 0
Hey guys, i was browsing around and came up on the Alliance Armament wraithmaker drums. Has anybody seen anything similar to the open design that wouldnt break the bank? I like the look of it but find it a bit steeply priced compared to other drums on the market. Not knocking the price due to the material factor and whatnot. Maybe i could mod a promag or md20 for a similar look.
Superhawk138 202
The only other open designed drums are the Maxrounds drums. But they are an overseas item and expensive.
socom688 217
Keep reading on this forum about AA. They have shotty business practices to say the least. Also, from all the reviews I have seen, they do not hold up as well as the MD or Promag 20 rounders. Also, as cool looking as the drums with the exposed rounds are, it is just that, cool looking. They would be less than ideal in the field. They are just magnets for picking up debris and getting fouled up. I would much rather own 3-4 Promag or MD drums instead of 1 heavy ass drum made by clowns.
haugpatr 972
An open drum design just allows for dirt/debris to enter the magazine and cause a malfunction. ETA - spelling Edited April 8, 2013 by HOG76
