jerry52 893
I was on a call last week an a little old man in his 90's asked me if I would like some ammo . Anyone know how old the 22lr box is?

devildogdakota 804
Vintage score today!! I picked this up this morning for $75.00 at a sports shop in town that was on consignment. How old do ya's think some of these babies are? Actually, my ole' lady bought it and wants to turn a profit with it on Egay in order to get her car fixed. I'd like to build a nice barn siding display box with glass top for it and hang it on the wall. All the boxes are full of the origional ammo.
Syndicate 812
Holy shit, SAVE THE ELEY CB CAPS! Those are pretty awesome, and I believe are pretty rare and last I checked no longer made, I'll check my cartridge book, but cb caps were used for indoor ranges way back, like the little rabbits and what nots. I was trying to get some of this to fire out of my revolver for indoor use before I discovered the Aquilia primer only stuff. Some of those look to be some pretty old scores, the peters stuff for sure. One row down from top in the middle, a remington box, post more clear pics of that and pics of the contents
devildogdakota 804
Here's a few more pictures of them. Is the one pic I took with the open boxes with contents showing what you were looking for Syndicate?

Syndicate 812
Cool that's what I thought, those are "ratshot" on the remmy stuff, but they are literally made for miniature trap and skeet shooting and are really rare to find them packaged like that over a mouse round. An older guy at the gun club talks fondly about shooting miniskeet in his backyard as a boy, and it always fascinated me. belt fed frog 56
I still have a few bricks of Viper as shown , anyone remember Gallery .22 short`s or Nobel BB caps ? Syndicate, Dinosaur`s 50 BMG minimum would prefer MK 211 but API in a pinch and non DD , ideally 20-30 mm HEDP , head shot easy hit the brain Not so easy lots of bone Very little brain ! What you have wandering around the neighborhood

csspecs 1,987
Winchester still makes the crimped .22 shot shells. Cheaperthandirt sells it (when they have it). They have WAY more bite then the plastic caps however plastic cap .22 shot won't make you deaf in a crawl space. PS whats the legality of boring out a .22 rifle with an 18 inch barrel? Also I believe the older stuff has larger shot sizes.

Correct, I was merely stating that its possible to get them still for persons interested in trying it. I think the mini shells went down as low as #8 shot but I'd imagine that the shot pattern density was a little light.

There are some patterning videos on youtube, it is pretty bad lol, they are all over the place and extremely inconsistent
