misterT 174
I want to buy some extended mags for my COlt 1991 A1 and there are not a lot of them available. I found some Pro Mag 10 rounders but I know Promag ahas a scketchy reputation. So any one used the 10 rounders in a Colt, any suggestions. Yes I know I should probably just buy a Glock or a Springfield armory high capacity .45 ACP but I like my Colt and I am used to shooting it.
dashowdy 141
I have heard mecgar or cmc mags were the way to go if you wanted a descent extended mag. no personal experience though, promags are junk that I can say for sure.
tim2shu 48
Chip macormick is the way to go. Had my goldcup for 20 years and shot competitions with it. The chip macormick hold up and last never had to replace one
Arik 565
ProMag is got for use as targets, Especially in a 1911 where the mag is very crucial. Chip Macormik or Wilson Combat is the way to go. McGarr is good too
misterT 174
Thanks everybody, I found some Chip Mccormick 10 rounders and have them om order! Three mags and a mag pouch for $132 delivered. I saw Promags on Fleabay for nearly that much!
thebuns1 4,323
Promag does suck. I never had any luck with any of their mags in any weapon I tried them in. Glad you didnt get them.
