poosh507 21
Yeah I saw that. Thought it was pretty cool. Too bad they didn't do an article on the saiga
SGL 530
Right now they are just selling off old stock of Russian S12s.Whether or not they are actually going to produce a quality shotgun here in the US is still to be determined. In case you can't tell, I'm pretty skeptical after it came out that Kalashnikov Concern (Izhmash) has nothing to do with this company and are pissed that they had their name stolen.

Whether or not they are actually going to produce a quality shotgun here in the US is still to be determined. In case you can't tell, I'm pretty skeptical after it came out that Kalashnikov Concern (Izhmash) has nothing to do with this company and are pissed that they had their name stolen. Time will tell. Let's hope we are wrong and they actually do something that is worthy of the name. I find it ridiculous that they have pics of guns with rivet filled holes in all of their marketing materials and it doesn't inspire confidence. For now, they look like a joke to anyone who knows anything.
saltydecimator 482
^exactly.... it sounds good and logical, but if they dont actually have russias backin then whats the point?
evlblkwpnz 3,418
^exactly.... it sounds good and logical, but if they dont actually have russias backin then whats the point? I'm hoping there was someone with some skill and attention to detail visiting Izhmash every now and then taking note of what was used and how things were done, at least. I think the AK community has seen enough disappointment with US made Kalashnikov based weapons already. I can't help but wonder what their inventory of leftover Saigas looks like, how long that will last, how much effect it has on them pressing forward, and how much gap will be between existing inventory and new production. Demand is low, for now.
Jwunder 1
Hi long time lurker here. We just got some of these into my shop today. I've been doing a lot of conversions for customers lately and we thought maybe these would sell and reduce our time and labor costs. They come with some garbage rear stock and pistol grip and some extra holes drilled into the stock handguard. Tapco g2 trigger and sgm 10 round mag. The muzzle brake is permanently attached with a weld all the way around with a total barrel length coming to about 18.25. The trigger guard is the same part I've gotten from CSS for the conversions I've done. The holes from the stock trigger are filled with simple ugly plugs What is not obvious from the picture of the shotgun in the ad is that the side rail has been removed the receiver very poorly refinished where the rail was. Overall finish of the gun doesn't seem spectacular. I've been thinking of getting a saiga and chopping the barrel and perm attaching a brake for myself and wanted to see how these would look as a possible option. I think I'll just build my own gun from a stock saiga after seeing these. edit: these are izhmash saigas not usa made guns Edited May 22, 2015 by Jwunder
