Mullet Man 2,114
I have no idea where to get them. Should I be looking for factory magazines, or are there knock offs that are just as good?
Sim_Player 1,939
Looks like there are some good surplus mags out there for around 20ish. RTGparts had some but, they are out of stock atm.

Sim_Player 1,939
Centerfire Systems has some Korean ones for 15.00 sorry that's the best I could do.Sounds like the same Korean batch. I don't think mags will be a problem. Now if you can help me find mags for my .45 Berretta Cougar >$50, please let me know. It's a good gun for big hands! sccritterkiller 473
You can get factory mags @ hkspecialist. They are not cheap...I would also watch for sale posts at hk pro, you see gov surplus come up there from time to time. What are you wanting to run them in a clone? Sometimes the Korean ones will work depending on the parts used for the build. If it has HK parts kit you will probably be better off with factory mags.

Mullet Man 2,114
Well I'm about to order a 9mm Vityaz clone from Volk Armament and it uses mp5 mags. I'm just looking to stock up.
XdamagedX 248
Well I'm about to order a 9mm Vityaz clone from Volk Armament and it uses mp5 mags. I'm just looking to stock up. FWIW: Last I knew he recommended the Korean ones, said they were good quality for what they are. I'm anxious to see what you think of the gun... I seriously considered one myself. Are you getting the home-brew or the modified PAP?

Not interested in the m85 conversion. Looking at a >3 month wait, is what he said the lead times are at right now. I found HKparts.net, they carry all brews of magazines. New German 30's are up there in price with Molot V12 8rd mags. Centerfire Systems has some Korean ones for 15.00 sorry that's the best I could do. Thanks for the heads up.
