  1. Optics and sights, It would be nice to have a central section to browse through rather than have to dig through all the other sections for optic info. (especially cause most saiga optics and sights are either interchangeable or very similar regardless of caliber)
  2. I think it's bump fire, I get double taps like this sometimes but not more than that. Your hammer spring might not be all the way resting on your trigger (could be off to the side or slid inboard) which will make the trigger very prone to bump fire. Just inspect the hammer spring to ensure in rests on the trigger at the 90, if it looks like it might slide off alittle bend it a bit with some pliers so it stays in the right position. Hope this helps.
  3. Hum, We'll see I just ordered a 6x42 posp... I guess I'll find out. I think it'll be more an issue or lateral clearance over vertical, so hopefully it works out well. If not it's no biggie I have a konus aimpoint clone on a different rifle I can swap out with my reflex until I can afford a real aimpoint. Thanks for the heads up.
  4. UPDATE Surefire 20rounders are not sold and are available for purchase. (No shipping to CA!)
  5. It's not my photo, but I can post some later when I get a chance. I wonder if a Reflex would be too big. (Definitely the 42mm Reflexes would be). I'm using an Aimpoint Micro, and it does not intrude into the view of the POSP at all. If you don't mind could you post some pics of your setup from the same angle?
  6. I am wondering the same thing but with an trijicon reflex II on an ultimak. What size is your posp in the photo? I'm pretty sure that it will work, but I'm not sure if it will work with an 6x42.... Thanks

  8. I wonder which one is more durable a Reflex II or an Aimpoint H-1? I'm basically looking for the most dependable and durable ultimak setup.
  9. It does not appear to cowitness?
  10. No shit, and it cowitnesses? I thought the reflexes would be too high to cowitness. I really like this idea. Could you post some pictures of your setup and how the reflex cowitnesses? Thx
  11. S-223, and G17. I would not bother with any other firearms because I need to be able to carry what I need with me, I'd cut the extra weapon and add more ammo.
  12. I have an EOtech XPS too, how is your mounted? I have mine mounted in a scout configuration on a utg quad rail. I'm thinking of tossing the qaud rail and changing to an ultimak but I'm worried about heat. Got any insight about the XPS and its heat resistance?
  13. Thanks, my google-fu is weak, I didn't know I could specifically search the forum.
  14. Yes, so long as your attachment is one of the four approved methods, and it's in place before you install a stock. What do you mean by "the four approved methods"? I'm assuming that it must be 'permanently' attached somehow? I know I need to do the research for myself, but it's nice to get a heads up before hand from experienced members. Thanks for the help. I also need to find a source of a ~4-5" muzzle device, or a way to fabricate one.
  15. Alittle off topic, I want go the same route as mentioned earlier, Draco to SBR eventually. But I wanna go pistol>rifle>SRB. I was thinking of adding a longer barrel attachment to a draco to bring it to the min 16" barrel length and then tack wield the attachment on. Then install a stock and use it as a rifle until I want to change it over to a SBR. Is this legal?
  16. I've got this new system where I remove the barrel shroud all the way back as far as I can, then thread the barrel 14xLH all all the way back to the fsb too. I order a bugly 74 zig zag brake and a 14xLH adapter (~$60 shipped from apex). Then I drill out a hole to fit one of the pins I had to remove for the trigger conversion with a small spring behind it into the hole I made in the fsb (making my own muzzle device retaining pin). Then I install the adapter and put jb wield on the back part of the adapter to lock the threads and create a nice seal to the fsb. Now I have a functional

  18. I recommend against JB alone, but I highly recommend using it with a screw sorta like super loctite, it'll prevent the guide from vibrating around at all and will lock up the threads better than loctite.
  19. I agree w/ GOB. The NRA is just doing it's job and I will continue to support them. We need friends of the 2nd on all sides of the aisle. Harry Reed will and should be held accountable for the rest of his non gun/hunting policy by his constituents not the NRA.
