  1. Looking forward to this product, have had great results with the auto gas plug that y'all make.
  2. Only one word comes to mind when I look at that the High Standard Model 10: Grotesque. Aside from the hidious looks, what do I not like about the weapon? Well, it has a tube magazine system, with a max mag capacity of 6+1. Hell, a Mossberg 500 can hold 8+1. The magazine is not detatchable. I am a fan of bullpups, but that one does not look to be well thought out, and it looks like it would be uncomfortable to shoot. The wiki page you linked mentions it has an unpredictable trigger pull. I have some experience with bullpups. While they tend to share the same weakness of a shitty link
  3. We were until July 4, 1946. We hosted Clark AFB and Subic Naval base until after Mount Pinatubo's catastrophic volcanic eruption in 1991. I just wanna say here that along with our brethren American soldiers in WWII Filipinos were the only allies (including a vast guerrila force) in the Far East that fought the Imperial Japanese Army/Navy. Actually, both the UK and Australia also fought in the Pacific Campaign of World War Two. While the UK was limited mostly to the China, Burma, and India Theater of operations, they did have a hand in the blockade of Japan. The UK also plagued Jap
  4. They used to be, but that was a while back. We granted them independence in 1946.
  5. So I was window shopping on Gunbroker, and came across this 75 round drum for $130 shipped. I can not afford this, but figured that someone here would probly want to know about it.
  6. Are you sure that what you think are scratches are not actually brass transfer from the brush to the barrel? Hardness wise, brass is softer than steel of any kind. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that its just brass transfering onto the steel like a crayon on paper. It would explain why they buff out so easy.
  7. You pull off chaotic neutral quite well. I hope that was not sarcasm. I do try... There was no sarcasm intended in my statement, only sincere admiration
  8. I am attaching a .pdf of the AK receiver that I found on the internet. I believe it came from the Gunco forums. I know that one of these is not among the stickied posts. I have not seen one of these posted here, but then again, I have not done a search for one either. Anyway, I found this a while back, and used it to convert my Saiga to a pistol grip. When printed, this is 1/1 scale template. This template does not have the rails, nor does it show where to mount them. It only has the outline of the receiver flat, and all holes that need to be cut or drilled. Enjoy. AK Receiver.pdf
  9. Here is a to scale .pdf schematic of the AK receiver. Print it off, and either use it yourself, or, if you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, have your friend do it. AK Receiver.pdf
  10. I dont like how there is no clear division between stickied and non-stickied posts.
  11. Ummm, I'll have to disagree. Being a Marine stationed on Keesler Air Force Base and walking around in Dress Blues gets you ALL the you can possibly shake your stick at. THANK GOD FOR AF CHICKS! I had a thing for AF chicks sporting a White Rope, they were often the most naughty. Sorry for the off topic post but reliving memories is good sometimes. (Edited to add which AFB.) If memory serves, white ropes designated the "Chapel Guides".
  12. I was in the Air Force for 9.5 years, highest rank achieved was Staff Sergeant (was never demoted, thank God), and received an honorable discharge. Served as a Security Forces member, and 3 years into my enlistment I became an explosive detector / attack dog handler. Stationed at Minot AFB, ND; Kunsan AB, Republic of Korea; and Vance AFB, OK. Air Force leads the way... to the air conditioned tents with cable tv.
  13. Go do some SERIOUS playing in the dirt and sand, and then tell me that an AR is a reliable weapon. I hated the M-16's and M-4's that I used in the military. You get a little bit of crap in them, and the whole weapon shits out on you. Yeah, an AR beats an AK in accuracy. Take a look at the battlefields of today. URBAN. Range to enemey is 100 - 200 yards tops normally. At those ranges, what does it matter if you can put 3 rounds in 1 inch, and I can put 3 in 2 inches. My 7.62mm round is gonna stop what I am shooting at in one shot, can you say the same thing about your .22 on roids?
