when you said no retainer hole in the reciever, did you mean the small tang on the handguard rear? the one that holds the handguard onto the shotgun. mine has one. also i once had my s20 and s12 handguards off at the same time and put them back onto the wrong guns, the only difference was a slight wobble at the rear as the retainer tangs were very slightly different widths, but they both fit. so i don't think that the 12 and 20 handguards are very far apart in dimension. pat

i have an apology to make to anyone who followed the link in my post about the flash hiders from veriforce. i bought a light mount from them that didn't fit rails on 3 of my weapons and after returning it to them they have refused to refund my money because they said that i lost a set screw that was not included in the first place. i tried to be civil and discuss the problem, i also let them know that the screw was missing when i recieved the item, but their attitude has been TFB. so i suggest that you not deal with these folks. pat I am working on if we can get another screw. i have a tapco folder on an 7.62 ak. it has a flimsy feel to it, but it has held up so far. i may try lone on my s12 and see if it holds up to the recoil, but my permanent one will be an ace. pat

i found a piece of it, just part of the sidewall and a screw my buddy found later. pat

i just recieved my krebs front sight unit today, installed it, and tried it out. after a goodly number of rounds my buddy noticed that the sight was gone. i checked and the flash hider was still secure, but the sight was gone. with a good bit of searching we found the right side wall of the sight base ring and one screw. holy sh@t i was disappointed. i caalled krebs and they said that they lost their cnc guy and are out of sights right now, and won't have any new ones until they get a new guy. pat
