  5. I am going to cut down my barrel and permanently attach a poly choke. Not a SBS. My question is, doesn't a polychoke come apart? so technically I need to keep the barrel at a length that does not include the removable portion of the poly choke? Or not?

    Folding Mech

My Ace folder unlocked and folded on me last week during rapid fire. Not cool. It is not the push button one. It's the regular one and I would say it is very tight and even difficult to operate. Anybody ever have this happen?
  7. Glad i could provide an opportunity for your entertainment. emailed Ajax. they said to contact Promag. Promag said to send them back to ajax. Waiting on Ajax to confirm.

    Pomag junk

finally got a chance to shoot the promag 10 rounders I got from Ajax a while back. Complete piece of shit. Turned my saiga in to a single shot. Don't waste your money. Will Promag take this junk back? Will ajax?
  9. I sent an email requesting pricing for a few parts the day this thread was posted. No response...
  10. Am I wasting my money? should i spend the extra $150 on a Dr optic / trijicon? Also, ultimak rail or a mount it in the rear dovetail? Rear dovetail seems cheesy.

  12. Thought I would share something I did on my S12. I read it here one night, but i have not seen it mentioned but that one time. So again, this is not my idea, but i like it. When cutting the slot for the double hook trigger, take your time and fit it. You are essentially creating a trigger stop. I ended up with the slot about half the size of the factory slot. I made the initial cut with a carbide cutter and then filed it to fit. You can angle the file and match the angle on the trigger. Built in overtravel stop.
  13. same deal here. Got them from Ajax yesterday. Required fitting. Hand cycling worked fine. I noticed the shells matched the angle of the factory mags EXACTLY. My surefire mag does not. It is slightly higher in the front of the shell and i have had some issues with it. Looking forward to shooting the promags to see if the problem is gone. I like the look of the promags. the spring seems a bit more powerful than the surefire and I'd say about the same as the factory mag. Just going by feel.
  14. That's it! Thanks! Helping somebody put together a care package for a soldier in Iraq.
  15. who sells it? I swear i saw a can on one of the vendor websites on here.
  16. still waiting on ajax. about 5 weeks now i think.
  17. i cut a bit of the safety lever on mine.
  18. I noticed that with the surefire mag I was able to easily reach in the chamber with the bolt locked open and lift the front of the shell up in to the position shown in your photo. It was much more difficult to lift the shell to that position from the factory 5 round mags. I also noticed that the natural position of the shell is slightly higher in the front on the surefire mag too. the last time I shot the gun I put a box thru the 12 round mag and it worked fine until I shot from the hip and it did exactly exactly as your picture shows. Once. ?????
  19. I have the same problem. Same ammo too. But, it has happened on other ammo too.
