  1. I went and picked up about 100lbs of Bison meat yesterday!!! A lot of it was burger, but I also got some Tenderloin, sirloin, NY steak cuts, short ribs, rib steaks, flank steak, and a few roasts. Not bad at all!! I will be cooking some tonight or tomorrow.....I currently have an 8lb pork roast in the crock pot for pulled pork. I took some pics of some Bison cows for his next tattoo. We will be trading for a bison skull this next time.
  2. I won't be called immature by such a "Stink-fart-poopyhead"!!! I'm not immature......you are!!!! So There!
  3. Yeah, and the fact that a '73 Bus has a whopping 60 HP!!!! Older busses have even less! I get down to 15mph on hills......yes, that's right, 15mph!!!!!
  4. They are probably trying to get around ME in my 1973 VW Bus!!!!!! Sorry.
  5. Now if only we could bring you your slippers and the paper when you get home from work!!!
  6. I second the Zombie Tools! They are made just a couple of miles from where I am right now!! Great products and great Fellas as well! My Backwoods Machete has to be around 1/4" thick steel and is Full Tang. The nice heavy weight gives a real solid swing, great for getting firewood while camping. I had the ZT fellas make me an extra sheath for each of my Zombie Tools so I could mount them in my vehicles. Machete in the 4runner and my De'Capitain in the VW bus.
  7. I also have the "Backwoods Machete" but thought that the downward angle may be less than optimum for a bayonette.........plus, as you well know, the weight of that machete makes it swing really well, and I want that bad boy in my hands!!! What a Head -chopper!!! One of the best, well probably THE best useable heavy duty blades I have ever owned in my life!
  8. Yeah, first it was Sportsmans Warehouse, then it was Warehouse Sports, and now it is back to Sportsmans Warehouse again????? Whatever, they have never been the same after the first switch....they used to have a large inventory of all of their products, now it is much different. They have Tumbleweeds rolling down the isles here!!!
  9. The 30-06 stuff I got was cheap! I got 5 boxes of hornady ammo for $20 each and 14 boxes of Remington core-lok ammo for $12 a box.
  10. I reload my .44mag stuff. Just went and got around 400 rounds of 30-06 and 500 rounds of .38 special this past weekend. The .38 was $140 for 500 rounds of HP ammo. The 30-06 was listed on armslist.com
  11. Looks very unspectacular.....just like ANY suv type vehicle these days.....seen one seen 'em all.
  12. Thanks! It is really nice to drive in traffic with this set up and most everyone who sees us is excited and enthusiastic, usually jealous that we are going to have fun without them We get lots of waves and folks taking pics.......in SOME states, I imagine, Lots of Weenies would panic and cry and call the "Athourities" and I would be in jail......if you live in one of those places......Effin MOVE!!!!!!! Come here and enjoy life!
  13. We had another 50 degree day today, so we hit the woods again. You can see by the photo how even bringing at least 1 bag for collecting trash per person hardly puts a dent in shit.... I try to make cleaning a positive and gather different color shotgun shells for making Christmas lights. Anyway, another awesome day and a photo of "How we roll" here in Montana!! Perfectly legal transpotration of fun in the mostly Free world! I was thinking of my S-12 Bothers who may not enjoy such freedoms. The 2x4s are the base of a Target stand. I do run 2 cables and padlocks through the frame of the rack
  14. Expecting 50-ish degrees for the next 2 days! Gonna hit the hills in the 4runner w/the guns and live it up!!
  15. Just an update, I finished the bison tattoo, and also tattooed his son, and this next week, he will be slaughtering a bull for the fresh meat in trade! It will be 7 days after that when I get to enjoy, and share the bounty. he has about 8 hours of tattoo in the books, and I am also looking foreward to his Bison Soap!! I did not have my camera for a pic, but I'll get one. I am not sure what to cook first....
  16. Here in Montana, it seems that we get Sunshine, rain, snow, sunshine, snow most every day, all in the same day potentially into "summer months". I usually don't take off the snow tires until after Mothers day. We should lump these 3 months together into "Marapay".
  17. Yeah, I just write it with a paint marker....marker cost a buck and I am done in no time....no stickers no stencils. Maybe you and Boba can get together and see how much more extra time and effort we can put into "writing on a box." edit: putting the "sticker" or writing on the FRONT is better when you stack your cans, as the top is not visible and the front.....suprise....IS visible. I don't believe anyone ever claimed that labels were any better than any other method of 'writing on a box'. It's just a matter of what is more aesthetically pleasing. If sharpie on tape or white paint

  19. ^^Yet it is totally safe to have thousands of rounds, all across the world, packed loose in a metal box, bouncing around in a truck, getting "Tumbled around".....I call BS on severe tumbler danger. My tumbler is pretty mellow on how the cases roll around in there. Alot gentler than having the box of hundreds of x39 ammo that has been bouncing around the back of my truck for over a YEAR!!!! Shoots just fine and never ignited ammo in the box. edit: but on a boring beer drinking day, nothing wrong with the 1 at a time thing either.
  20. I always enjoy the Dan Wesson revolvers in .357 and .44 mag w/ interchangeable barrels........Very accurate and durable.
  21. I do have a private range at my Uncles place, but newly located homes have reduced our pistol/rifle range to Pistol only for safety. We are looking into building a small (100yds max.) rifle range, but that will have to be "For Real" as far as burms and safety goes.....amazing how much Dirt can cost.
  22. A few years ago a friend of mine had both Mosins. He drooled about puttin' a scope on the longer one. One day, his b'day was coming, and a week before, I asked him if could use it at the range. I took it apart, gave it a real good cleaning and polishing, and bought the kit that requires cutting the bolt knob off and mounting the 90 degree kit bolt handle on. I drilled and tapped the top of the receiver and mounted a picatinny rail , and a real nice older Redfield scope that I had on the top. We went coyote hunting the weekend of his b'day, and he damn near started chockin' up when I handed it
  23. It's true! Anytime we are picking up, if another stranger arrives, 9 times out of 10 they start helping us clean up. Lots of folks are not bad and just need a little nudge in the right direction to see that it's cool to be responsible. We are all the sort of folks who may appear to be "Some tattooed Red-Necks", but we try to set a good example all-around with our range cleaning and friendliness to other shooters, and passers by. We meet a lot of good folks in these situations.
  24. Basically, someone killed themselves...we can make a big deal out of anything in his house if we have an agenda. For example the headlines could read " Man commits suicide, Fried chicken, Pop-Rocks and Soda-pops of over 16 oz. found on premises!" Fuckin "Whatever....."
