I just preordered mine this are a really great looking piece. The best part is they take care of two things I have wanted to buy for a while but could not find any I liked. A nice thick,tough looking trigger guard and an easy to use mag well, and what better there in one piece. I am the most unlucky guy around so I will buy one first and if i win another that would be GREAT . How about a rifle verision???

One of my S12s has the dealers box that was all etched out, and I filled it in with weld but when I ground the weld all down I ended up with a few tiny small holes through out the box. My guess is the weld was not as tight as I thought or I ground out to much. I really do not want to weld it again It will be to much. Is there any other way to fill the small holes like a liquid steel or something?? I tried Loc tites version put when the heat from the heat gun hit it, it lifted right off (I was testing the filler before I baked the whole painted gun in the oven to see how it would hold up)

Anbody have any ways of installing the magazine release spring I took my mag catch and spring out for paint and to change the stock one with an extended one and I am having a hell of a time getting the spring back in??

When will the AK rear rails that convert top rail to Titan be up for sale. Will they tie into your already made AK quad rail set or will it be a different/seperate top rail piece all together??

Since people charge so much and I have 4 guns to do, I broke down and bought a small tig welder to do my own. You do not know anyone with a tig,or that solders with silver? has a mig welder, my friend used his mig welder with .23 wire in it and his came out great??

I was going to say the same thing it looks just like my Galil mags also and in your first post about how it almost fits into one gun and will go into the 7.62 it, I am pretty sure its a Gaili They have thicker sides at the top front where the lead end of the bullet sits

not to steer you away from a saiga but did you see the century arms galils. Thats the route I went in stead of converting my saiga 223. you can pick up a Century Arms Galil for between $450 and $600 just make sure you do your research on them and buy a newer one that has a letter stamped on the under side of the reciever, they had some trouble with some and the letter means its been factory fixed. I can tell you the letter if you go that route I just cant remember right now I will look on mine,or buy a good used one that you know works. Also if you go the saiga route let me know I have a galil

Can you post a picture of a direct side view, not at an angle like you did. I have one of my S12 all torn down in the middle of coverting and want to compare the gap between where you filed and the shell rim on yours to one that is stock. I will post a picture of mine after so we can compare. How much did you remove??? Did you have a ton of metal shavings or just a few??

When installing the trigger guard on the S12 using rivets how much length do you want left on the end before you press them flat??

I am doing one of my s12 finnally, I have it taken down to barrel and receiver looking for someone to send it to,to have it painted, the side rail removed,and the xxxxxx in the box on the side removed and trigger guard installed. Do any of the bussiness members do this, do you have any referrels to anybody. Trying to have one place do it all??

How much more would it take to extend the top rail out to the front of the gas block, then your chaos front site could be used, maybe you could do a standard size top rail like in your pictures then offer a longer top rail that goes forward to the gas block, then when you make your rear rail you would have another set up that could use your chaos sites. I know alot of guys want top tactical rails for rifles. I would order 2 to 5 right off for my guns alone

I took a stock saiga 7.62.39 tube and ground on it and made it fit but when I put on the SGM hand guard the gas tube was at an angle being lower in the front, so it look a bit off and it had a bit of play in it.

Just as it says I really need a 308 gas tube. Please if you have one let me know. I had one lined up but it fell through.

How about a full length top rail so you could add different sites setups with or without scopes or red dots.(like on ARs the top rail) Like a cross between the all mighty Titan and the Ultimak gas tube rail. Would it work and be strong enough. If it hook around the gas tube then went back pined into the rear site base and mounted like the Titan at the rear.I have tried to get something done on a few Ideas here in Vermont but all the shops run at gun work for some reason. I know alot of guys just want a top rail for rifles??
