  1. An added bonus to getting the threading tool for yourself is that you can thread some other shotgun barrels for muzzle brakes. In my case, I was able to thread the barrel of a Mossberg bullpup and now I have the pleasure of looking for an appropriate MB.
  2. If it ever arrives, this will be my last business with them. I had to chase them for answers and received only half answers at best.
  3. What would be considered the normal turn around time from placing an order to acknowledgment of that order via email or other means? I have been waiting since 1/10/2012 for some sort of communication regarding the order status, shipping, anything. An inquiry was sent yesterday via email without response as well. I noticed they got paid withn minutes of my order placement so I'm certain that part of the process is working.
  4. Wow lucky for me I sold all my Saigas last year...
  5. Tried to but the *(@!#)*(@# work browser has a cookie issue Have to nail it down when I return to the barn - Great stuff!!!
  6. Regarding Post# 449 by Sumsky The hand guard looks like an intriguing OEM mash-up. More info please?
  7. I was kind of thinking it would make a good platform for a 7.62 x 25 carbine. Maybe even a switch barrel conversion to give you a true multi-caliber option. "All you have to do" is create a male/female barrel to receiver interface that keeps the barrel and gas system as part of a single unjit. That way you switch the barrel and the needed gas mods come with it. Of course, the phrase "All you have to do" in no way reflects the reality of actually doing it...
  8. It was indeed the "fugly stick", thanks guys!
  9. Where can I get a hand guard like the one in post # 391? My conversion is done as far as the parts count/vanilla version and not it's time to add a little spice. Also, any sources for a US manufactured AMD65 type guard with grip? This place rocks!!!
  10. For those of us who have very early Kalashnikov USA S12's with no threaded barrel, where would one acquire the necessary die set (assuming that I can verify that M22 x .75 RH is the correct setting)?
  11. Apart from a visit to a gunsmith, what options are out there for us folks with very early S-12's with non-threaded barrels?
